Q: How do I get my tickets?
The Festival is now completely sold out. If you were lucky enough to get a ticket, see you in the fields!
Q: Are Caravans / Campervans allowed in the camping field?
There is separate field for campervans and caravans and an additional camper/caravan ticket is needed.
Q: Is there free water in the camping fields?
Yes, and water bottles are available in the main arena.
Q: Has the toilet situation improved this year?
Yes, we are using a new company and therefore new, better, greener toilets. We aim to win that Best Festival Toilets award!
Q: Which brands of lager, cider and wine are available?
Our main wines are Barefoot, lager is Tuborg and cider will be Brothers Festival Cider. Plus Kendal Calling's real ale festival with lots of different ale's from breweries in the Lake District and even our own ale – Kendale! There will be more to be confirmed and more choice as well.
Q: Is there any room left for artists?
Unfortunately the line up is full this year but make sure you email your details to bands@kendalcalling.com after the festival to be in contention for playing next year. We’d love to have you!
Q: How do I get back and forth to the festival?
There are numerous methods. Including trains to Penrith and then our shuttle bus. Or you can take our Big Green Coaches from numerous locations in the UK. www.biggreencoach.co.uk/kendalcalling for more details.

Q: When do day tickets become available?
At the end of June.
Q: Does the weekend pass include Thursday night?
Unfortunately not. You need to purchase a separate ticket for the Thursday night at the price of £20 for a whole extra night of music and fun hosted by the amazing Freakeasy crew – check the website for details.
Q: How much are weekend tickets?
Adult tickets are £85 + booking fee
Q: Can you have fires on site?
There will be BBQ places but no fires.
Q: Can we bring camping stoves?
Yes!
Q: What is the difference between early bird tickets and Thursday Freakeasy Tickets?
The Thursday Freak Easy ticket is for the Thursday night camping and entertainment where as the Early Bird was an earlier discounted ticket for the first 500 ticket buyers.

Q: will there be any more emperor field family tickets on sale?
Unfortunately, no. But quiet and family camping sites are available.
Q: When are set times released?
We can’t give an exact date as we don’t wish to disappoint but it will be before the festival.  Lanyards and festival booklets will be on sale for £4 at the festival.

Q: Will there be a cash machine on site?
A:  We’re happy to say we have ATM cash machines on site. We’d still recommend bringing enough money for the weekend though as even a few minutes wasted queuing for cash is a few minutes wasted from a blinding weekend.
Q: Will there be somewhere I can buy vitals like Tobacco and Toilet Roll?
Our General Store will stock all the sorts of festival vitals that we’ve learnt you can’t do without.
Q: Can I bring my own sound system into Kendal Calling?
For everyone’s enjoyment sound levels in the family camping area will be enforced to a reasonable degree and as part of the condition of us gaining our licence no private sound-systems or generators will be allowed onto the festival site.
Q: Will it cost me to park at Kendal Calling?
To encourage people to share vehicles and reduce the impact of cars on the Deer Park we have a small charge for parking. Each vehicle will need a £5 parking ticket which can be purchased on entry to the site car park.

Kendal Calling is held at:
Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, CA10 2HN
The new home of Kendal Calling is 25 minutes north of Kendal up the M6 and South down the A6 from Penrith. (yes, we’re aware it’s closer to Penrith than Kendal..!)
Q: Is there anymore acts to be announced?
Yes, just a few, keep your eyes peeled.
Q: We want to sign up for the Cumbrian Olympics, do we just do it on the day?
Yes. Stay tuned for announcements.
Q: What time does the campsite open?
The campsite is open to all ticket holders at 9am on friday 30th July. For those who have a Thursday Freakeasy ticket the campsite will be open from 12pm on the Thursday.
Q: Is there a limit on the amount of alcohol I can bring?
We allow weekend campers to bring a reasonable amount of alcohol onto the campsite (roughly enough for one person each).
Q: Can we take alcohol into the arena?
Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the arena as we have arranged some awesome bars for you to drink from. Plus it keeps ticket prices low.This year there will also be a late bar in the campsite area which will be open after the arena shuts.
Q: Can I camp with a day ticket?
No. Day tickets only entitle you to the arena area of the festival and only until that closes each day at 3am.
Q: Can we have a pass out from the festival if we needed to go off site over the weekend?
I'm sorry but as with most festivals we operate a no pass out system. Please bring everything you need for the weekend. You have a General Store selling essentials, a cash machine onsite, and plenty of food traders and bars so you will never go hungry or thirsty!
